Priya Rai was born on December 25, 1977 in New Delhi, India. Rai was abandoned at birth by her biological parents. Fortunately, Priya was adopted by American parents at age two and brought to Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she grew up in the suburbs. Rai studied marketing at Arizona State University. She started out in the adult entertainment industry working as a stripper for several years. Priya subsequently went on to become a soft-core glamor model who specialized in swimwear and lingerie shoots. Rai first began performing in explicit hardcore movies at age twenty-nine in 2007; she has appeared in X-rated features for such notable companies as Evil Angel, Bang Productions, Pulse Distribution, Digital Playground, Jules Jordan Video, and Pure Play Media.
